ATA-SRO Accreditation

A self-regulatory organization (SRO) is an organization that exercises some degree of regulatory authority over an industry or profession.

In 2006, the American Teleservices Association Self Regulatory Organization (ATA-SRO) originated by a group of ATA members in the wake of Do Not Call Legislation as a means to help regulators identify the great companies who operate in full compliance. The objective of the ATA-SRO also included going beyond existing regulations and encompassing best practices so as to avoid the need for future over-regulation. This initiative was launched with the full and ongoing support of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and several members of the United States Congress. Part of this initiative was formulating a set of universal standards reflective of federal and state laws that promote contact center compliance.

Synergy is the seventh company worldwide to achieve this distinguished accreditation.
